Gilroy Garlic Butter and Gilroy Garlic Bread

 

 

An exceptionally easy way to make delicious Garlic Butter and Roasted Garlic Butter for Garlic Bread.  

Ingredients

1/2 Cup (1 stick) salted butter softened

2-4 large cloves of Gilroy Garlic

Optional Ingredients

Chopped Fresh Herbs: Parsley, Thyme, or Rosemary

 

Instructions

1. Gather the ingredients. Ensure the butter is softened.

2. Mince the Gilroy Garlic.

3. Mix the butter until smooth and then add in the minced Gilroy Garlic.

4. Optionally add in some chopped fresh parsley.

 

 

Roasted Garlic Butter

 

Ingredients

1 Cup (2 sticks) salted butter softened

2-3 bulbs of Gilroy Garlic

2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil

Optional Ingredients

Chopped Fresh Herbs: Parsley, Thyme, or Rosemary.

 

Instructions

1. Gather the ingredients. Ensure the butter is softened.

2. Cut the tops off of the garlic bulbs to expose the garlic cloves. 

3. Lightly drizzle the top exposed garlic bulb with olive oil.

4. Place the garlic bulbs onto a tray and into the oven.

5. Bake at 350 F for 30-435 minutes. 

6. Remove garlic bulbs from oven and allow to cool.

7. Squish the bulbs to remove the roasted garlic.

8. Mash the garlic and mix with the butter then add in chopped herbs.
